Work

What I've built

Fifteen-plus years building organizations, products, and programs from the ground up — in the nonprofit sector, in consulting, and in technology. The material changes; the job doesn't: align people around a shared vision, build the systems to execute, and deliver in complex environments.

SolarisAI

Founder

AI that actually knows you — and behaves like it.

getsolaris.ai ↗

Everyone has felt AI be confidently wrong, forget who they are, and need the same explanation for the tenth time. SolarisAI fixes that structurally: your AI configured to behave on your behalf, grounded in how you actually work. Founder-led and deliberately small — a handful of engagements at a time, each one hands-on.

  • Designed and built end-to-end agentic engineering systems — decomposition, delegation, review gates, verification
  • Founder-led engagements over self-serve scale, by design

Switch

Chief Product Officer · previously Chief Revenue Officer

A bootstrapped healthcare staffing marketplace, scaled against VC-backed incumbents.

switchcare.com ↗

Switch connects credentialed healthcare professionals with facilities across 7+ states through a pure marketplace model. I joined as the first executive hire — Chief Revenue Officer, during the post-COVID correction — and was promoted to Chief Product Officer in 2024 to oversee the entire platform. Bootstrapped means the product has to speak for itself: everything we build has to generate the revenue that funds the next build and the next market.

  • Scaled weekly platform volume from 3,000 to 20,000+ billed hours
  • Grew the network from 2,500 to 50,000+ credentialed healthcare professionals
  • Expanded from Texas-only to 7+ states, navigating multi-state healthcare regulation including HIPAA
  • Built the product, engineering, and design org from scratch — engineers, PMs, DevOps, designers, QA
  • Introduced AI/ML across matching, credentialing, scheduling, and fulfillment; agentic credentialing review cut provider onboarding review from ~20 minutes to under one
  • Authored the company AI roadmap — governance, training and professional development, pilot projects, internal tooling, and in-app AI products
  • As CRO, built the foundation the business runs on — operational systems, market intelligence, customer-facing features, brand, and market positioning
  • Led the corporate rebrand from Direct Care Source to Switch

THRIVE Partners

Founder & CEO

Strategy consulting for developers, tribal governments, and community organizations.

THRIVE Partners took on projects where progress required aligning parties with competing interests and no shared boss: developers, city officials, funders, tribal governments, and neighborhoods. The developer behind The Uplands brought me in after a community boycott had stalled the project’s entitlements for more than a decade — my job was to diffuse the mobilized opposition and redirect it into real benefits for the community. I simultaneously served as Executive Director of the Uplands Community Collective, advancing housing, jobs, and urban agriculture programs.

  • Turned a decade of organized opposition to The Uplands — 250 acres and 2,350 homes, one of Denver’s largest urban in-fill projects — into negotiated community benefits, clearing the way for entitlement approval
  • Helped the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe coalesce stakeholders around a long-stalled tribally-owned grocery store in Towaoc — uniting the vision, plan, and details that unlocked $4M+ in first-phase grant funding
  • Founded the Uplands Community Collective as a 501(c)(3) and led it as Executive Director through May 2022

Re:Vision

Co-Founder & Executive Director

An award-winning nonprofit for food justice and community economic development.

Over a decade in southwest Denver, Re:Vision grew from an idea into a nationally recognized organization — built on the conviction that neighborhoods thrive when residents own the economy around them.

  • Grew the organization from startup to $3M+ in annual revenue and $5M+ in assets, with a team of 27
  • Raised $15M+ — 130+ grant proposals at a 65% success rate, a 2,000+ donor base, crowdfunding, and events
  • Built the largest community-led urban agriculture and Promotora program in the country: 2,000+ family gardens producing nearly 1M pounds of organic food
  • Acquired two commercial properties and co-led master planning for a $10M mixed-use community development
  • Delivered the 2015 TEDxMileHigh keynote, Congressional testimony, and 50+ public presentations
